It is years since I last saw Davie - on a boys golf trip to Fife - but he was one of those guys whose face you can always conjure up in your mind - a smile that lifted your spirits. Walter has already mentioned his football prowess and McTeagle United was without doubt the most fun I ever had on a football pitch, with Davie a key component of that.
