Helen 3rd June 2020

So many years and so many memories of a truly wonderful man. One of the best. David was the friend that had the time to talk and more importantly to listen. He never had a bad word to say about people and gave you his advice and wisdom. He always took time to talk to our children, asking them questions on how they were or what they were up to. Having the 'second best dog in Charvil' we've all been on many a dog walk, obviously with a stop off at a pub, where David never failed to make us laugh with a witty comment or a story to tell, plus he always brought the crisps. Having met Val & David, when Finn and Liam were only three, we've had many years of fun and laughter together with friends. Whether it's David being a 'demon' on the badminton court at Centre Parcs to a 'tramp' on a beach in Wales, or asking for 'more red' and getting a loaf of 'bread', to skiing all day in a t-shirt to BBQ's and dancing with Val to Pulp Fiction. There have been many occasions and memorable holidays, including the lovely week we all spent in Crete. I have a text I replied to David which simply says 'I can always rely on you to make me smile'. Thank you David ❤️ Always in our hearts Helen, Liam, Joseph & Jasper xxxx
